Miss Vixen
Tracy York aka Miss Vixen’s obsession with electronic music began when she started recording music from her Commodore 64 game system. The influence of 8-bit bleeps and bloops would later resurface into a full-fledged love affair with techno music.
Known for her brand of hard techno for many years, she has recently traded in her blistering 140 BPM style for a more stripped-down, club-oriented approach. Vixen’s current sound is a carefully crafted blend of minimal spiced with uptempo tech-house, funky techno and dark electro flavors. She’s one of the region’s favorite warehouse DJs as well as a resident at Portland’s monthly club night STATIC. Vixen also handles flyer design and promotions for SubSensory’s events.
